Bessemer Rock Formation

Bessemer is a small town in the far western part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This rock formation, on the town's northeastern perimeter, is truly spectacular. Although part of the vast escarpment that runs through the area, it appears to simply emerge from the center of a hay field.
