McClish Road

Mid-afternoon shadows are projected onto the surface of McClish Road, which winds its way through the heavily-forested, western portion of Michigan's Wexford County, near the town of Mesick. This road is named for the family of Donald A. McClish, a lifelong resident of the area. Don passed away during the winter of 2004, at the age of 100. He was a kind gentleman, a tremendous storyteller, and one of the most memorable and special people that I have ever met.
