Michigan Copper Country: Early Winter Sky

On the morning of October 14, 2009, I visited Lac La Belle Michigan, just south of Copper Harbor, hoping to enjoy and photograph the beautiful fall colors.

Somewhat insensitive to my tour plans, Mother Nature, instead, treated me to an amazing snow storm.

Although the light was far from ideal for taking photos of the fall colors that morning, I found this view of the departing storm clouds, reflecting from the surface of Lac La Belle, to be spectacular.
